L. Maabaidhoo is one of the inhabited islands in Laamu Atoll. The island has its own unique Dhivehi dialect, which differs significantly from the spoken dialects of the northern and central Maldives. It is a charming, medium-sized island rich in lush, mature vegetation. The island features a beautiful, long river-like natural water body or estuary connected to the sea. While parts of the island boast sandy beaches, it also has an expansive lagoon and a vast coral reef that shelters numerous species of colorful marine life. Divided traditionally into seven named neighborhoods, this picturesque island is home to a welcoming and kind-hearted community. and visitors.
